Heritage Trails
A dedicated team of members of the society has spent many hours of research and design to produce Heritage Trails for the three villages and these were formally launched at the society’s AGM on 22nd January 2010. They were funded by the National Lottery Awards For All and were produced with the help of Kevin Cale from Community Archaeology Ltd, The North York Moors National Park and North Yorkshire County Records Office.
One of each of these is available free to members of the society, but otherwise they can be purchased for a maximum of 50p from a variety of outlets including village shops, pubs, local libraries, and visitor information centres.
